Brooke and Gigi....capturing memories..

Here are a few really cute shots of Gigi and Brooke!
I love the one of their hands...too precious.  I wish I could freeze time...but I know that memories will last forever.

Bath time fun .....

Ashlee and Brooke love water and their baths.  At home I have individual bath seats (thank you Neely) that I can put them in the big bath tub in.  When we were packing to go to Granny and Poppy Cow's house the other weekend I found this inflatable duck bath...(thank you BofA shower hostesses...that used this as punch bowl).  I thought it was the PERFECT thing to take with us and leave there for future bath times.  It's much easier than filling up the entire tub...has non-slip bottom...and they don't fit in the sink anymore!

The girls really enjoyed it..as you can tell from the pics below.  Brooke played with the toys and Ashlee just loved to splish splash!!

My favorite is the last one..when I drained the water.  Ashlee was like .. "what..where did it go?"

Ring Stack...a glimpse into the future perhaps...?

A few weeks ago when we were at Granny and Poppy Cow's house...Granny pulled out some baby toys that she had boxed up.   We found the ring stack and the girls had fun.  They can't talk...or at least we don't understand them...but I can see the below conversation going something like this.....

"Hmmm...what is this strange thing? "
Ashlee is looking up for answers...while Brooke is exploring possibilities....

"I know Sissy....you put it in your mouth!!!"
Brooke doesn't look so keen on the idea....

"No Sister...you are supposed to put the rings on the stack...like this!"
She didn't make it on there...but it was funny and we were shocked that she even came close!

"Whatever...I still think it's more fun to eat it!"

"Oh.....what am I going to do with her..and these rings if she eats my pole?"

Ashlee....she'll now "be there with bells on! "

Ashlee has found her laces.....and her toes!   She manages to un-tie them enough to loosen her shoes to get them off...or she ends up pulling them into a knot that is so tight Mommy threatens to cut them off!  She doesn't really mind having to wear her shoes 23 hrs of the day once they are on...but she REALLY enjoys the time she has them off..and I don't blame her.

See the simple equation below....I can now really say that Ashlee will be somewhere with "bells" on!

Ashlee getting some Gus lovin'.....what a great dog!

We LOVE Gusssy SOOO much!

Brooke's always scooting and rolling to reach and pet her Gus...but this past month Ashlee has REALLY started to love him.  She just laughs out loud when he gets near her or she sees him.

Gus is such a great dog...very protective of them and super sweet to them.  Enjoy the pics of Ashlee and Gus below...as I have posted some in prior blogs wth Brooke....

Hey there...can I pet you?

Oh...kisses!  That is so much more fun!

Wait...where are you going?  Come back....

RDP (Red Dog Paci) Retires....

What I thought might be a sad day in our house...was really a non-event.  Mommy decided that it was time for Brooke's infamous "RDP" (red dog paci) to retire.  She loved the lil' guy so...but the pacifier was meant for newborns and at 7 months she was outgrowing the style and preferring the normal paci.  I think Mommy had a tougher time letting go of RDP.....as it was a sign that her baby girls really were growing up! Below are a few pics to help pay tribute to the lil' critter that has many times over the last 7 months made Brooke happy....and kept Mommy and Daddy sane!

RDP...love at first site!

Month 2 - 3...RDP travels with us everywhere!

The final era of RDP.....we will miss you!

Visiting with Auntie Ginger and Cousin Morgan

The other day we had a nice surprise visit from Uncle Bill, Auntie Ginger, Will and Morgan.  Auntie Ginger has to get her "baby fix" so comes to love on us!  Morgan loves to play with us and is a great babysitter!
