Tupperware Party...
The girls have decided that tupperware....or in my case the disposable ziploc brand...are the best toys ever!! They like to beat on the, chew on the, slide/roll them on the floor, and shake them (when I put toys inside). Talk about great inexpensive toys!

Summer...coming to an end?
Last Friday evening we got home from work and there was a nice breeze and the weather was in the 70's! We decided to take full advantage...although this is really a typical evening ritual at our house...especially the ball throwing! However, I took some pictures and wanted to post so Granny and Poppy Cows could see the girls in action enjoying their swings....without having to break into a sweat!
Go Rangers!!
Go Rangers!!
Despite them losing a few games in a row..they are still ahead in their division and the girls and Daddy are still cheering them on!!
Southwestern Parts and Service dodges a bullet...
Hermine brought us not only a lot of rain...but some bizarre and scary weather followed. While we did not have any strong winds or tornado threats out at our homestead in Argyle, there were several around the downtown Dallas area. The one depicted in the below pictures (pictures 1-4 and 5-10) were just west of downtown...and RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from Shane's business!! They hit about 6pm...thankfully after Shane and the girls were home and the office was closed. God was really watching over us, as there as very little damage to their building. Just some minor cosmetic stuff to fix outside and some slight roof damage. Whew..definitely a bullet dodged! Too close for our comfort!!

Our pond runneth over.....
We prayed for rain...and Hermine is the answer?
Thankfully our new french drain worked well and the house did not flood this go round!..but I stayed home yesterday just to make certain! Our pond was 2-3 ft low...but now it's full to the brim!
Once the rain let up I took the dogs out to check out the pond and water situation...
Shane now is worried how many fish might have escaped...

Poppy Cows sharing the sunrise with Ashlee....
My Dad (aka Poppy Cows) loves to sit on his porch in the mornings, drinking his coffee and watching the sunrise. The other weekend when we were there he shared one of those moments with Ashlee....
