1st Birthday Party! - "S'Moore Fun...."

We had family and a few friends over for our "1st" birthday party!  We kept it very informal and small.  It was nice...despite some damp, cold weather.  The theme was "s'mores."

It's S'MOORE Fun Turning ONE when there is TWO!

We had s'more cupcakes, s'mores on a stick and real s'mores out by the fire pit for those that wanted them.

Enjoy a few pictures....

Girls' 1st Birthday Dinner at Bogatti's...yummy!

Nana and Poppy took us all out to celebrate our birthday at one of their favorite Italian Restaurants, Bugatti's.   It's a great place and they are always OVER accomodating!  The girls were treated to their first dish of angel hair pasta with butter sauce!  It was hard to keep Uncle Bill and Daddy away from it...as it was yummy!!!  As you can see from the pictures below...the girls had NO issues tackling their first self-fed pasta meal!

Morgan and Ashlee..

Auntie Ginger was having a serious conversation about Disney World...and the possibility of going for a future birthday.  Not sure if Ashlee is contemplating the Princess talk by the look on her face...

Brooke says "yeah" for Birthday Dinner !!!

Nothing cures better than fresh air and sunshine!

As mentioned in previous post...the girls got sick Christmas Eve...and it lasted about 21 days!  They worst of it was the first 2 weeks.  It was also VERY cold that first week of January here...but the girls were SOOOO ready to go outside and Mommy was ready to get out herself.  So one day..the sun came out for a brief period...and dispite fever and coughs...we bundled up and went outside to enjoy our swings and fresh air!  The girls had a blast!

Being Silly at the Nursery

The joys and priveldge of the "nursery" and girls being at Southwestern Parts is that Nana sneaks some great pictures every now and then!  They girls were all about showing out this day!

Christmas with the Moore/Quillen Family

Christmas morning after we had our own Christmas and breakfast, we loaded up and went to Ginger and Bill's for family Christmas.  Again...poor babies did not feel so good..but they made the it through and made the best of it!   We have the best babies!

Despite being sick...we chowed down and loved Auntie Ginger's carrots and potatoes!

Christmas Morning at Home...

I am WAY behind and WAY late on this..but better late than never!

Here are a few pics of the girls' 1st Christmas.  It was not as exciting as I would have hoped...as they (along with Daddy) were both sick.  Got sick Christmas Eve...ran high fevers for a few days..and battled RSV for the average span of 21 days.  The girls tried their best to be in good spirits..dispite feeling icky.

The boys got new tennis balls....always a hit!
