Bring on the cereal...

The girls had their first taste of cereal this past weekend.  They did pretty good.  It was their first experience for high chairs and spoons too!  Ashlee was VERY happy to get it and would not quit smiling...  Brooke did not like it at first..but has warmed up to it!  She had to have a few chasers from her bottle the first few day!   These were taken with my phone..so not the best quality..but I had to capture the day!

Happy Father's Day - Part II

Dinner with Nana and Poppy's at Kriby's steakhouse..... the food was great and the girls were good..until it was time to go and they were tired and not cooperative for pictures!

Ashlee really wanted a bite of steak and macaroni and cheese..I could tell.  While Brooke was more into Nana's diamonds and wine (notice her hand on the stem). 

A great 1st Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day -- Girls adding to our Texas Pride!

This was actually last weekend...as the girls gave Daddy their Father's Day gift a little early.   We bought him a Texas Flag!!  Now we have a USA flag by the front gate and a TX Flag in front of the house!!  It was hot outside that day..and the girls were none too impressed to say the least...but they did help with hanging!

A & B are getting to be busy bees...Happy 5 months!

I can't believe the girls were 5 months old a few days ago!!  HOLY COW they are growing too fast!! 

They have really started playing and interacting with some of their toys and each other.  It's so funny to watch them stare, laugh, and communicate with one another.  Enjoy the pics from this week...as I am sure next week they'll be conquering another milestone!!

Mommy bought us a "Jenny Jump Up"...we haven't mastered it yet...but it sure is fun already!!

Ashlee is our talker...man that girl can make some noise and go on for HOURS! 

She is telling us here that one of her FAVORITE things to do is go outside and look up at the trees blowing!!

They were cheering on our Texas Rangers one evening and enjoying time in their bumbo chairs (thanks again Neely!).

Trip to Smiley....

We took another trip to Smiley to see Poppy Cows, Granny, and Gigi.  It was our 2nd road trip down to South Texas and the 2nd time the girls got to see and visit with their Gigi (Great Grandma).  Precious and special days.

The girls enjoyed being outside and going on walks....although they are not smiling in this picture....they were having fun!

Double Bubble...Double Trouble...we are back!

It's been a while since I have posted a blog...life has been crazy!!  We moved to our new house in Argyle and are LOVING it!!  It's so nice to have some space and privacy.   We have yet to unpack ever box or hang pictures..but we are settled in and pausing to take some time to enjoy it. 

The girls are growing like WEEDS!  I can't believe they will be 5 months in just a few short days.  I'll probably end up posting several blogs in a row tonight...since I have a break and a few minutes to get online.  With 2 babies, new house, crazy job, and all the other things life throws my way seems that time is more and more precious every day.  I can't complain though......God is good.

This is not the cutest picture....but it's so sweet!  Brooke ADORES her sister.  She reached over and grabbed her hand and I had to snap it!
